3D Printing & Digital Sculpting

Large-format 3D printing for statues.

Life-size and larger-than-life statues — digitally sculpted and printed in sections, then hand-finished to a stone or bronze look.

Overview

For statues too large or time-constrained for traditional carving alone, we digitally sculpt in ZBrush and print in engineering-grade material across multiple large-format printers, then join, sand and finish every seam by hand.

Applications

  • Life-size and monumental statues
  • Political and honorary figures
  • Sports and film memorabilia
  • Museum and exhibition pieces
  • Master patterns for mould-making
  • Rapid festival commissions

Our workflow.

Step 01

Consultation

We start with a call to understand the deity, figure or model you need, the setting it will live in, and your timeline.

Step 02

Reference & Brief

Photos, temple agama guidelines, existing artwork or a rough sketch are gathered into a shared brief.

Step 03

Digital Sculpt & 3D Scan

We build a digital or clay maquette — scanned or sculpted to scale — reviewed with you before any material is cut.

Step 04

Prototype

A first article is 3D printed, carved or cast for your physical approval before full production begins.

Step 05

Casting, Carving & Finishing

Approved work moves to bronze casting, wood carving, moulding or large-format printing, then hand-finished.

Step 06

Gilding, Painting & Delivery

Gold leafing, patina or paint is applied by hand, then the piece is packed and delivered or installed on site.

Benefits.

Monumental scale

Statues printed in sections and assembled up to several metres tall.

Seamless finishing

Joints sanded, filled and primed until invisible under the final coat.

Fast turnaround

Large figures completed in weeks, not the months hand-carving alone would take.

Print-to-cast pipeline

Printed masters can move straight into mould-making for replication.

FAQ

Yes. Most commissions start from reference photographs, an existing idol, temple drawings, or even a rough sketch — our sculpting team builds the 3D form from there.
