Idol & Deity Sculpting

Deity idols, sculpted true to tradition.

Ganesha, Shiva, Murugan, gurus and family deities — digitally sculpted and hand-finished to temple and home-shrine specification.

Overview

Every idol begins as a digital or clay maquette, refined stage by stage against classical iconography before it is printed, cast or carved at full scale. The result reads as hand-sculpted stone or metal, not a print.

Applications

  • Temple sanctum deities
  • Home shrine idols
  • Guru and acharya figures
  • Processional utsava idols
  • Festival and pandal centrepieces
  • Donor and gift commissions

Our workflow.

Step 01

Consultation

We start with a call to understand the deity, figure or model you need, the setting it will live in, and your timeline.

Step 02

Reference & Brief

Photos, temple agama guidelines, existing artwork or a rough sketch are gathered into a shared brief.

Step 03

Digital Sculpt & 3D Scan

We build a digital or clay maquette — scanned or sculpted to scale — reviewed with you before any material is cut.

Step 04

Prototype

A first article is 3D printed, carved or cast for your physical approval before full production begins.

Step 05

Casting, Carving & Finishing

Approved work moves to bronze casting, wood carving, moulding or large-format printing, then hand-finished.

Step 06

Gilding, Painting & Delivery

Gold leafing, patina or paint is applied by hand, then the piece is packed and delivered or installed on site.

Benefits.

Agama-accurate proportion

Iconometry checked against traditional shastra measurements before casting.

Any scale

From a 12-inch home shrine murti to a multi-metre sanctum centrepiece.

Stone, wood or metal finish

Surface texture and patina matched to marble, granite, bronze or teak on request.

Priest-reviewed

Proportions and mudras reviewed with your temple committee or priest before finishing.

FAQ

Yes. Most commissions start from reference photographs, an existing idol, temple drawings, or even a rough sketch — our sculpting team builds the 3D form from there.
